"Women, through the sacred vessel of their womb, embody the timeless connection to generations past, present, and future, serving as the keepers of knowledge and wisdom, weaving the threads of life's tapestry across time."
Integrative Womb Hara Massage Therapy is a blend of 4 key therapies: Abdominal, Sacral and Womb Massage, and Rebozo.
This modality is a deep; yet gentle, non-invasive abdominal and sacral therapy that focuses on improving circulation to the abdominal organs, with an aim to improve blood, nerve and lymph flow. Restoring balance to the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system.
Womb and Hara Massage will work to repair, bring balance and restoration to the Womb and Hara Centres and awaken our life force energy (Qi) and creative birthing potential in all its forms. It supports the clearing of blockages and stagnant energy held within the tissues of the body while restoring balance to the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.
These profoundly healing and nourishing techniques are based on Western and Eastern philosophies, including the ancient Chinese Chi Nei Tsang abdominal/Hara massage, Fertility Massage, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi and Mayan abdominal massage.
The full treatment you receive, includes a deep and slow massage, of the abdomen, womb, lower back, sacral, sacrum and coccyx areas.
The benefits of Womb and Hara Integrative Massage can address many of these issues:
Pelvic pain
Sexual trauma and abuse
Menstrual pain and cycle-related challenges
Digestive issues such as appetite, constipation, gas and bloating
Ovarian cysts
Fibroids
Endometriosis
Lower back pain, sacroiliac pain, sciatica and tightness of the sacrum
Organ prolapse
Fertility issues caused by mental, emotional and physical reasons
Energetic blockages caused by trauma in the body
Anxiety
Depression
Stress
Difficulties getting pregnant
Pre and post-menopausal
The massage treatment progressively shifts and releases any constricted muscles and areas. I like to think of the sessions as an onion…each layer we are getting deeper and deeper. Emotional tension and trauma can be stored in the pelvic and hip area. Womb Hara Massage may help release these emotions and promote emotional healing. And with regular womb massages, the overall well-being of your reproductive system can be significantly supported, including healthy menstruation and fertility.
During the sessions, other modalities are sometimes woven into the treatment. These include Energy Healing, Yoni Steaming, Moxibustion, Guided Womb Meditation, Sound Therapy and Reiki. The additions are incorporated to further assist and support you in your womb journey.
Each session is honoured and tailored to each person.
When Is It Not Advisable to Receive A Womb Hara Massage?
Womb Hara Massage is very nourishing and potent for many. However, there are times when it is not advisable to receive, they include:
Within 6 weeks of a minor surgery
If you have any Tumours
Had any Major Surgery - wait at least 12 months
If you have any IVF Implantations (we can work up until implantation)
Are Pregnant
If trying to conceive, then not between Ovulation and the next bleed.
Any Sacrum & tailbone issues
3 days before a heavy menstrual bleed and whilst bleeding- as the treatment will increase blood flow (yet can be useful for those with stagnancy)
Any active STDs
If you have a Marina or Coil inserted.
If you fall into any of the above categories or are unsure please contact me to discuss further before booking your treatment.
Completing the Treatment with a Rebozo Closing of the Bones
A Rebozo is a type of woven material from South America and is used in a technique known as the "Closing of the Bones" ritual. It has been commonly known to assist mothers after giving birth & it is also used to support trauma experiences where a part of us (part of our spirit) chooses to leave the body as it was too overwhelming at the time to go through the experience, resulting in soul fragmentation. The wrap acts as a nurturing symbolic closure. A calling in of the lost fragments of our soul.
It is a beautiful way to complete the womb hara massage treatment and help you to feel ‘put back together,’ sealed, nurtured, renewed, restored and grounded. It is a deeply relaxing massage that encourages you to draw your energy back to the creative centre of your womb and hara, aligning you with the womb of Gaia and the womb of creation.
About Your Practitioner
Cassandra (Cassie) has been on a journey with her dysmenorrhea from the moment she entered Menarche at 12 years old. 11 years later she can now say confidently that the frequency of intense pain has significantly reduced since she started connecting with her womb space in 2021.
She believes that her womb was screaming at her. Begging her to listen. Listen to your womb/knowing, and come into the heart space. The Vagus Nerve connects the two, meaning that when there is stagnancy in one area, there is stagnancy in the other. This can often manifest itself as low libido, ‘moodiness’, avoidancey, people pleasing and a lack of motivation. This is often due to not only our life experiences but a disconnect from our power centres-heart and womb.
In Cassie’s own journey she found that when she suppresses her needs, desires and truth throughout her cycle, she is more inclined to have a more painful bleed. BUT, this is also a whole-istic modality. What may work for one, may not for another. This is why tuning into YOU is vital. With frequent sessions, you will get clearer and clearer on your ailment. Each session will work on a different layer, dislodging energy bit by bit so as not to overwhelm and fry the nervous system. This is a gentle approach that requires patience and dedication.
In a world of invasive and overwhelming shock modalities, this can be difficult for we crave immediate results. This practice is very yin driven, focusing in on the flower blossoming when it’s ready rather than forcing the opening of its petals.
